On the basis of the similarity theory

a new style of brush seals with low leakage and high endurance was studied experimentally in this paper.The brush seal structure was evaluated according to the measured experimental results.The results showed that:the leakage of the new brush seals was smaller than that of the old brush seals;the leakage difference between the two brush seals became larger with the increase of the pressure difference.
